While at Gearbox, I worked with many of the interns sent to Gearbox from SMU's Guildhall. I worked with the interns to build content for Brothers In Arms: Earned in Blood and Hell's Highway.
After my term with Gearbox I have continted to help students at Guildhall by reviewing portfolios and offering suggestions to make them more presentable for the industry. I have also do portfolio
reviews for students applying to the Guildhall.
I am on the Advisory board at Richland College reviewing the curriculum and offering suggestions for the program. I have worked with a few students on group projects offering critique for aesthetics and
gameplay. I talk with students and give them advice about the industry and where to imporve skills to enter the industry.
I was an advisor to students for the Computer Gaming Entrepreneurship Competition. I offered suggestions about aesthetics,gameplay and business models. I was also the keynote speaker at the
2009 Gamer Engineering Conference held by the university. Along with that I have talked with some students to give them overviews about industry pipelines and what to be aware of while in school.

Lead Artist/Sr. Artist
For the past two years at Gearbox I was Lead Artist on Brother's In Arms: Hell's Highway.
My responsibilities included assigning tasks to the art team and tracking updates with feedback
to the artists. I was responsible for meeting with Level Design and Code departments weekly to
keep the project on schedule and determine what tasks caused risked to schedule. Much of my
time was spent on troubleshooting in Unreal 3 with artists and programmers with new features
we added to Unreal.
I helped in the creation of our custom tool for destructible cover system via 3D Max into Unreal.
I worked with coders to figure a way to export physics out of 3D Max via ActorX into Unreal. I
also created many physics bodies for our destructible cover objects. Fixing content such as
shaders and physics content with the help of dump logs. I set up the physics bodies for the tanks
and all weapons within Unreal 3.
Along with all these assignments I also created environment models and textures with shader
creation in Unreal. I was also responsible for working with outsourcing studios with content from
characters, vehicles, weapons and environment objects. I was involved in the hiring process of
artists to the company.
Prior to that I was responsible for environment model creation on Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill
30 and Earned in Blood. I was also responsible for level creation on HALO: Combat Evolved for
PC along with UI and Interface content creation.
I was also responsible for game manuals for Half-Life for Playstation 2, Half-Life: Blue Shift,
Half-Life: Dreamcast, Tony Hawk 3 for PC, Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill 30.
Other responsibilities included supplying other departments with art for the Gearbox website
and internal marketing materials.
I help with the Guildhall at SMU intern process by working with interns on the project and giving
them critical feedback. I also helped with reviewing portfolios and project work.

Working with customers on creating design layouts for printing materials. Following through
with binding and printing. Responsibilities included running shop while management was
offsite and working up work orders.
